Senior Cloud Devops Engineer - CIAM

Being a bank, customer identity and access management is a cornerstone of our operation and needs constant attention and improvement. We have a skilled agile team working on this, and they need an experienced team member to help realize their goals.  

Here’s a little taste of your challenge: 

• You bring technical leadership. You share your deep knowledge of design, analysis, deployment, integration, architecture and more; 

• You will coach team members in cloud DevOps practices;

• You align with the enterprise architects, principal- and lead developers from other domains and shape the overall IT strategy. 

The Team:

As DevOps engineer for CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management), you are part of the IT Platform Solutions department that encompasses the main platforms in Knab (e.g. Cloud and Networking, DevEx, Customer Relationship Management, Core Banking) to deliver services to other teams in the various value streams. You work in a team with our CIAM platform software engineers and testers, guided by a common PO.

Skills and knowledge we would love to see:

There is not a set route to become a great Cloud Engineer at Knab, but to be successful in this role, this is the profile we have in mind:   

• Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience and knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure (and preferably also Azure); 

• Setting up and maintaining a wide spectrum of IaaS and PaaS services:

• • Networking: VPC, Cloudfront, Route 53, ELB;

• • Compute: EC2, ECS, Lambda; 

• • Database/Storage/Cache: RDS, S3, ElastiCache; 

• • Others: System Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, 

• Writing infrastructure as a code with Terraform; 

• Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipeline configuration); 

• Experience in scripting (Python, Powershell, HCL/JSON);

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management; 

• Experience with containerization and microservices; 

• Very good knowledge of networking in general, and experience in network and infra tooling such as routers, VPNs, loadbalancers, and firewalls.
