Liquidity Management Specialist

Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Liquidity Management Specialist that will operate at a medior level within the Liquidity and Capital Management Team of Knab.

The ideal candidate is hands-on and proactive as the role entails close collaboration with other departments to ensure that liquidity is managed in an efficient and correct manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the processes are further developed, automated, and made robust.

The role involves the following activities:

• Monitor intra-day and intra-month movements in Knab's savings deposits and margin requirements to ensure we are in full control of our liquidity risk;
• Maintain and further build on the models and tools we use for monitoring our liquidity risk profile, including early warning indicators, daily- and monthly monitoring, and crisis management;
• Assist senior management with insights on Knab's liquidity position in case required;
• Keep central oversight over Knab's cash accounts and further improves its set-up, including further improvements of operational limits, operational procedures, and controls;
• Assist on and further develop of cash management aspects in Knab’s strategy, including cash optimization and savings outflow projections;
• Keep oversight on user rights related to cash accounts.

In addition to collaborating within the Liquidity and Capital Management team, you will be in close contact with a diverse range of specialists in Treasury, Operations, ALM and Finance. As liquidity touches upon practically everything a bank does, you need to have a desire to obtain a detailed understanding of Knab's products and activities.

The team
The Liquidity and Capital Management team of Knab consists of 6 professionals who manage the bank's liquidity and capital position. This also includes balance sheet planning and strategy where we aim to ensure liquidity and capital are managed sufficiently and efficiently. By being part of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain a deep insight into the balance sheet management of a retail bank. This can be a great opportunity for professionals that have worked in finance or treasury functions in corporates or various parts of the financial industry and want to explore their career further in banking.
In this role you will report to the Head of Liquidity and Capital Management.

Your profile
We are looking for a motivated professional with ambitions to work in a dynamic organization and grow in the field of liquidity management. More specifically, the following characteristics:

• Master’s degree in financial and/or quantitative field;
• At least 3 years of experience in finance, treasury, or risk management, where we will see specific experience closely related to this function a plus but not necessary;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to communicate clearly
