Data Expert - Savings and Investments

In a nutshell:

As a Data Analyst S&I you will play a key role in analyzing data, creating insightful reports, and developing interactive dashboards to support the savings and Investment team of the bank. You will work closely with the product teams to answer key questions to drive the business forward, including: Gaining insights into our clients and their behaviors; Understanding inflows and outflows of savings money, forecast and actual variance analysis, which leading metrics we can use to determine if a customer will open an Savings or Investments account; Providing data fields required to comply with a regulatory report.

Your main responsibilities:

• Dashboard development: design and develop interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools (Tableau) to visualize and tell the data story;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and to ensure the insights, reports, dashboards, data analysis meet the domain of Savings and Investments · Generate ad-hoc operational reports as requested, providing timely and accurate information from the different systems to be able to support the business;
• Use data analysis to keep products in control. Compare data from various systems and show in Tableau the outcome of the controls;
• Data Analysis/Data diagnosis: analyze data sets to identify actionable insights and provide recommendations based on findings;
• Knowledge to be able to technically set up scripts to run automatically in Apache airflow. · Support Knab with data knowledge mapping of the systems that we are required to run the S&I domain;
• Contribute to the creation of different Analytics Products.

The department and team:

The savings and Investments domain is responsible for ensuring that we (1) have the right savings pricing strategy and (2) for growing our investment business and (3) we ensure that our products remain safe and compliant with applicable rules and regulations

Your Profile:

There is no predefined route to become a great Data Analyst at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as Data Analyst/ Business Intelligence Analyst;
• Good data visualization and data storytelling skills;
• Good stakeholder management and experience;
• Knowledge of database structures of Ohpen, Thaler, Mambu and Matrix is a plus;
• Strong SQL skills, Phyton is a plus;
• Can create dashboards and insights using Tableau;
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Effective communication skills and the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner; English language skills both written and verbal;
• Experience in Savings and Investments and/ or Banking or Financial is a plus.
