Commercial Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Data Analyst to join our Expert Center Data and Analytics department.

In a nutshell:

As a Commercial Data Analyst you play a vital role in our commercial organization: You provide the insights our commercial teams need to deliver products and keep our customers happy. You do this by analyzing data, developing interactive dashboards and collaborating with your business colleagues to make sure they make the best use of your insights and ideas.

You work closely together with other Commercial Data Analysts and the other members of the Team Commercial Insights. You’re also in close contact with the central Data Analytics team and Data Science team, allowing you to work on broader projects and learn from a diverse group of data colleagues. Together you form a group that collaborates, supports each other and has fun together.

Your main responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: analyze data sets to identify actionable insights, conduct in-depth data exploration and provide recommendations based on findings;
• Dashboard development: design and develop interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools (Tableau) to visualize and tell the data story;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and to ensure the insights, reports, dashboards, data analysis meet the commercial teams needs;
• Present your findings in a clear and accessible manner.

The department and team:

 The Expert Center Data and Analytics (ECDA) department consists of 35 dedicated data professionals with a big heart for the business value of Data. ECDA consists of four teams: Data Science, Enterprise Data Office, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering & DBA. The department works with all functions of Knab and is Knab’s Center of Excellence for “all data things”.

We play a key role in managing Knab data as a strategic business asset, providing actionable insights and intelligent analytics, innovate with AI and enable Knab to become the data-driven #1 bank for entrepreneurs.

You will report to Lead Commercial Data & Insights, while working closely with multiple stakeholders from various commercial teams across Knab to help us achieve our common objectives.

Your Profile:

There is no rigid set of requirements to be a great Commercial Data Analyst at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

• Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management, Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science);
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as Data Analyst/Business Intelligence Analyst;
• Good data visualization and data storytelling skills;
• Strong SQL skills, Phyton is a plus;
• Good knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau);
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Effective communication skills and the ability to present data and insights in a clear and concise manner;
• Very good English language skills, both written and verbal;
• Banking or financial industry experience is a plus.
