Accounts Payable Specialist

Your role and responsibilities
In the role of Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:

• Ensure accurate recording of expenses;
• Working together with vendors to assist them in onboarding;
• Analyze vendors due for payment and develop a payment proposal;
• Assess (and assign) the appropriate VAT treatment;
• Assist in reporting and solve queries;
• Work closely with the teams of Financial Accounting and Business Control;
• Work closely with the procurement team when onboarding new vendors;
• Assess the VAT returns;
• Analyze vendors’ turnover and other performance information.

The team
The newly established team of Accounts Payable consists of two specialists and one team lead. The team is part of the larger Finance team at Knab and has ten people in total. Besides the hard work there is plenty of room for training on the job and personal development. In addition, we enjoy outside work activities, organized by Knab, though also at team level. Together with the Accounts Payable team, you will develop and maintain a solid way of working, ensuring Knab has full control over the procure-to-pay process.

Your profile
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone that has:

• 4-5 years of working experience in a corporate environment, of which 2-3 years in Accounts Payable;
• Experience with working in SAP or Oracle is a considered a plus;
• Fluent in English;
• Open minded personality with a proactive/self-starter mentality;
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills;
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
