IT Vendor Manager - Procurement

As an IT Vendor Manager in the Procurement & Vendor Management Department you will be responsible for managing IT contracts and vendor relationships across the Knab organization. Together with the team, you will pursue an optimal relationship with both service providers and IT stakeholders, implement the Vendor Management roadmap for the IT organization, definee and agree on supplier governance framework/controls in line with new Digital Operational Resilience Act and build a relationship map between Knab’s Business Units and our supplier organizations.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise and help implement Knab’s IT strategy, translating it into sourcing strategy and vendor management activities;
• Support the implementation of new legislation: Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) by creating and implementing required management controls: ensure all contract standards, templates, policies, and procedures are fully compliant to the legislation requirements;
• Act as a business advisor for implementing Vendor Management approach in entire Knab IT organization;
• Establish, implement and maintain an operational, tactical and strategic relationship with suppliers, as well as monitoring their risk and performance as per agreed governance framework;
• Manage the full contract lifecycle , steering on vendor performance and focusing on continuous improvement;
• Develop cross-functional relationships with Knab stakeholder groups, such as Legal, Compliance, Business Control and Operational Risk Management.

Your Background & Skills:

• Previous experience with 3 years+ in contracting and vendor management;
• Skilled relationship manager with a high level of organizational sensitivity;
• Ability to coordinate between stakeholders within IT domain in terms of supplier/ partner relationships maximize value from key third party contracts;
• Management with best practice methods and techniques and frameworks;
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English; fluency in Dutch is an advantage but not a requirement;
• Strong organizational and project management skills;
• Spirited team player with the ability to work as a positive role model and catalyst for change.
