In a nutshell

Your mission is to build upon our next-level financial platform powered by Appian with regards to Savings and Investment Products, which offers a wide range of options to improve our customers’ lives. We need your help in ensuring our tech know-how is leading edge, and our execution flawless.

• You bring a deep knowledge of design, analysis, development, testing, integration, architecture, and more, to help your team raise its game;
• You, together with your teammates, will build our financial platform, and shape the strategy for the whole department.

The Team

The success of Knab has made us decide to develop solutions more and more ourselves, phasing-out bought IT-solutions, in order to accelerate and disrupt banking. You therefor work closely with a team of Appian and  Backend Developers and QA Engineers. You collaborate and align with Knab’s Appian Center of Excellence and talk to Architects and Business Analysts to further designing our Solution(s).

The Task

Right now we are busy with multiple projects: Migration of a Product line to our consolidated stack, transferring a Product from our Aegon environment and building an Intermediary Portal for expanding our target audience and the way we deliver our Products.

You are a natural problem solver and a great team player, dedicated in supporting your colleagues in getting things done. You know how to motivate your colleagues and collaborate with other teams to deliver solutions which follows Appian's best practices for designing applications including being scalable, maintainable, and efficient.

You are keen on sharing knowledge by defining guidelines and best practices and able to build and maintain Appian tools (like CI/CD, automated user provisioning etc.) so other teams can quickly be up-to-speed and adopt Appian in an easy way.

Your Profile 

• Appian development/design experience;
• Curiosity to find solutions to our customers’ problems, but also to learn new (Cloud) stacks like AWS and (Azure)DevOps;
• A Quality mindset;
• Thorough understanding of building process applications in the Appian environment, including design of the application, data types, process models, forms, reports, records, and news feeds;
• Experience in (Financial) business process management is a big advantage;
• Permit to work in the Netherlands and join our weekly office gatherings in our Amsterdam Office;
• You are an Appian certified designer and have (project) leadership experience to align with multiple Stakeholders (Architects, Product Owner, Business Analysts and our Appian/Engineering Community);
• But most of all: You enjoy your work and inspire others to do the same!
